Art on the Fly
A unique, Livingston approach to a “quick draw” art fundraising event
Please join Livingston Rotary for a 4th of July weekend kickoff celebration as Livingston prepares for the parade and iconic Livingston Roundup Rodeo. The event will take place directly off Main Street in the heart of Livingston’s downtown district. Support the local Rotary club’s dedication to the Livingston community by attending the first ever “Art on the Fly” fundraising event for an evening of music, food, and impromptu artistic creations. The event will start at 5:30 pm with the artists painting and silent auction simultaneously taking place. The silent auction and artists will stop painting at 7:15 with the completed art works being auctioned off at 7:30 pm. The night will continue with live music beginning at 8 pm and lasting until 10 pm. There will be a combination of local and regional artists displaying their talents with the final pieces auctioned off at the end of the night. While the artists prepare their works, you will have the opportunity to bid on silent auction items, enjoy local barbeque, listen to wonderful music, and prepare for Livingston’s most famous weekend. The funds from the event will go to several of the causes supported by Livingston Rotary including; Children-In-Need, RYLA Scholarships (Youth Leadership Training), Water Spray Park (Located on G Street), International Projects, College Scholarships, and various other events throughout the year.
Please contact Andy Turner (406.222.8926) or Tammy Haefs (406.222.9010) for ticket or sponsorship information
Livingston Rotary's current project involve plans to build a Water Spray Park at Mike Webb Park, otherwise known as "G" Street Park, in Livingston, Montana for the use and enjoyment of everyone. The WaterSprayPark will provide delight for locals and travelers alike; for children, parents and grandparents. The Park will be ADA and DDA compliant to ensure accessibility and fun for those individuals with special needs. The City of Livingston has provided an appropriate location in "G"StreetPark, located on the southeast side of Livingston. This area has ample room for the WaterSprayPark and a playing field. The completed RotaryWaterSprayPark will include the sprayground, picnic pavilion, restroom facilities, parking area, and a grass playing field.
